Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Dosimetrist - Dosimetrist
Job Details:
• Work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week for 13-week contract assignment
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• 1-hour call response time requirement
• Must maintain valid driver's license and reside outside 50-mile radius
• Required certifications: BLS Certification and Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)
• Dress code: Gray scrubs or business casual attire
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Focus on external beam planning only for radiation therapy treatments
• Present treatment plans to Radiation Oncologists
• Work with Eclipse/Aria software systems for treatment planning
• Handle 3D-CRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, and SBRT treatment modalities
• Use Epic EMR, PACS, MIM, and Radformation software programs
• Support approximately 60 patients on treatment using Varian TruBeam and Edge equipment
• Position serves as addition to core staff dosimetrist team
• On-site department orientation provided by manager

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
