RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Team assignment model rather than individual patient assignments
• 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving mostly geriatric population
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• ER experience preferred along with understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care, and geriatric patient care
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• May be floated to ER based on experience (first to float)
• 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
• Alternating holiday requirement
• No call or standby requirements
• Care for general rehab post-surgery patients and geriatric population
• Work with telemonitor capacity but no requirement to read strips
• Patient-managed CPAP equipment only, no ventilators or advanced respiratory equipment
• No drip titration required (pump infusion only)
• Charge nurse available on each shift
• Nurse aides/CNAs available on each shift
• Scrubs required with no specific color requirement
• BSN not required
