Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• No call or standby requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Fast-paced progressive care unit with 35 beds
• Care for adults and geriatrics including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring patients
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
• May float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility
• EPIC charting system
• Successful candidates demonstrate positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

The facility is a Level 2 trauma center offering acute care services with comprehensive cardiac, neurological, and nephrology programs. I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
