RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details:

• Work full-time night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirements include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts
• Holiday work required as part of rotation schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 for floor patients on 20-bed unit (14 floor beds)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Recent EPIC charting system experience required
• Strong neurological nursing experience required with proficiency in G-tube management
• Care for patients with neurosciences conditions, DBS, stroke, seizures, surgical/post-op spines, and neurological disorders
• Manage titratable drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, dopamine, Nipride, Ketamine, Lasix, Bumex, and Insulin
• Telemetry monitoring available with monitor techs reading strips
• May float to other units including 7E, 7W, 7NE, or 10E as needed
• One shift unit-specific orientation provided
• Dress code requires any combination of white and royal blue scrubs
• Maximum 2 shift cancellations per 13-week contract
• BSN not required but nursing license must be submitted
