RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float pool position covering multiple units including General Med-Surg Telemetry, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• Schedule created by leadership for 6-week periods, travelers expected to be flexible
• May float to other acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Must have minimum 2 years Med-Surg Telemetry experience
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Required to titrate Heparin drips
• Care for adult to geriatric population with various diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, post-surgical patients
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Any color scrubs permitted
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting assignment
