RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed emergency department with 2 trauma bays and 1 seclusion room
• Handle approximately 70 patients per day ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Patient ratios of 1:4
• Available shifts: 6:45 AM, 6:45 PM, 11:00 AM, and 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation alongside permanent staff
• 3-shift floor-specific orientation required
• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty AND 1 travel contract
• Strict 75-mile radius rule enforced
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC
• BSN degree not required
• Dress code: Hunter green pants, white top, white jacket
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• No floating required
• Handle cases from minor walk-ins to trauma situations (trauma patients stabilized and transferred via air transport)
• Pediatric patients transferred out to specialized facilities
• Work alongside 1 MD per shift and 2 mid-levels with staggered shifts
• Perform own lab draws and IV insertions
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
