RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed intensive care unit with 2:1 patient ratio, though 1:1 ratios are common for higher acuity patients
• Care for neuro patients who are herniating and have "brain drains"
• Manage ortho trauma patients requiring traction
• Work with cardiovascular devices including balloon pumps, impellas, and ekos
• Provide care for post-operative open-heart CABG patients
• Handle open abdomens from OR that may be re-opened at bedside
• Operate CRRT machines at bedside for renal patients
• Future participation in ECMO program planned to start in summer
• Care for medical ICU patients when sister units are at capacity
• Must have experience in ICUs or STICUs in level 1-2 trauma centers
• Cancellation policy allows 12 hours every 2 weeks
• Use MEDITECH charting system
• BSN degree not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must work within strict 75-mile radius restriction
• Acute care setting with specialized training provided for advanced devices
