RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements every other weekend
• Float to multiple units of varying acuity levels including CCU, IMC, MS Level 7, MS Level 8, Skilled Care, and ED (if within skillset)
• Patient ratios vary by unit: CCU 1:2-3, IMC 1:4-6, MS Level 7 1:5-6, MS Level 8 1:5-8, Skilled Care 1:8-10
• Must have 5 years of nursing experience required
• Prefer 1 year ICU or ED experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (if working in CCU or ED)
• Must be comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 1:2-10
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin when working in ED or CCU
• Expected to read and interpret telemetry strips, print strips, and identify rhythms
• Must troubleshoot respiratory equipment including vents, trachs, BiPap, CPAP, and Airvo
• Self-scheduling for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with flexible scheduling expectations
• May be placed in holiday rotation split between Group A and Group B
• Unit assignments received via text message within 2 hours prior to shift start
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius rule applies)
• Navy blue scrubs required
• One day orientation and one day with preceptor
• Use Cerner charting system
• Care for patients with diagnoses including NSTEMI, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetes, heart disease, and diverticulitis

The facility provides comprehensive acute care services with 24/7 monitor tech support and respiratory therapy services. The organization emphasizes flexible staffing models and maintains charge nurses on each shift who may take patient assignments as needed.
