RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6, with 1:6 ratio occurring at least once per week
• Care for medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients on a 42-bed unit
• Must pass open book skills exam during orientation with 90% score or face contract termination
• Floating requirements to PCU or Burn units
• BLS certification required
• Driver's license required at submittal to verify 50-mile radius requirement
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with any CommonSpirit affiliated facility
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Use EPIC charting system
• Work with titratable Heparin drips
• Respiratory therapy available 24 hours on floor
• Telemetry monitoring available with centralized station
• Nurse aids available with 1:10-12 patient ratios
• Orientation includes one week classroom followed by two 12-hour floor shifts
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
