RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work evening shifts as either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
• Call required with evening and night shift call responsibilities
• Call shifts are 8-hour rotating shifts with 30-minute response time requirement
• Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
• Minimum 3 years as RN circulator experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Work in 12-suite operating room with average of 30 cases per day
• Handle common cases including general surgery, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, and plastic surgery
• No scrubbing required for RNs
• Work with OR techs and under charge nurse supervision
• May float to Endoscopy if not needed in surgery
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Wear scrubs provided by surgery vending machine
• Complete 2-4 shift unit orientation
• Driver's license address must be outside 50-mile radius
• BSN not required
