RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work (4) 10-hour shifts with call required after assigned shifts
• Call shifts assigned twice per week currently
• Work in 10 OR suites on 2 West - outpatient surgery center within the hospital
• Handle 80-120 cases per day in fast-paced environment with quick turnover
• Must have strong experience with ENT procedures including Endoscopic Sinus Surgery with Navigation, Septorhinoplasty, septoplasty with turbinoplasty, and tympan mastoidectomies
• Must be experienced in sports orthopedic procedures like hip arthroscopies, knee arthroscopies, MCL/ACL/PCL repairs
• Work with multiple service lines including 2 ENT rooms daily, 2 Ophthalmology rooms daily, Orthopedics, GYN, and Urology
• Handle outpatient cases in smaller room sizes that dictate case types
• Strong ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• Work in Level I Trauma Center with 24/7 Poly Trauma response
• Scrubs provided for OR
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Required certification: BLS
• Orientation provided every two weeks
• 2 shifts cancellation policy per 13-week contract
