Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM (4-10 hour shifts)
• Perform musculoskeletal imaging, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvis, radiation oncology, and breast imaging
• Work with pacer and anesthesia patients as well as ICU and NICU patients
• Average 30 scans per day due to long protocols
• Required to start IVs
• Must have 1 year of MRI experience and Siemens experience, Philips experience preferred
• Travel experience and Level II trauma experience is a huge plus
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Work with 4 scanners total, agency staff will cover 2 scanners plus mobile unit
• Weekend work only if hired for weekend shift (high volume inpatients on weekends)
• Holiday requirements based on rotation schedule
• No call or standby required but may volunteer if short-staffed
• 1-2 weeks of unit-specific orientation
• Dress code: Black scrubs with black or gray jacket, no fleece allowed
• Use MEDITECH charting system and PACS: McKesson or Changed Health Care
• Strict 75-mile radius rule from driver's license address to facility
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks

This acute care healthcare facility operates as a Level II trauma center that functions more like a Level I facility, featuring advanced imaging capabilities with multiple MRI scanners and mobile units. The facility serves a diverse patient population including trauma, ICU, NICU, and radiation oncology patients, providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with radiologists available in-house during daytime hours and is expanding services by adding new equipment and hiring additional specialized staff.
