Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo

Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with weekend call responsibilities
• Perform 8-12 echocardiograms daily on average
• Provide coverage to Emergency Department, Inpatient units, Operating Room, and Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Work in 3 private rooms within main department
• Perform TTEs, TEEs, Stress Echos (exercise and Dobutamine), Bubble Studies, and OR TEEs
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
• Dress code: Black pants and pewter (gray) top (scrubs not provided)
• Use MEDITECH charting system and ScImage PiCom PACS system
• Receive orientation and training before working independently
• Primary patient population: Cardiac patients
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on contract duration
• Cancellation policy: 1 shift per 4 weeks allowed
