Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with minimal potential for overtime
• 8-hour day shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements (closed on major holidays)
• No call or standby requirements
• Administer 30-35 therapeutic radiation treatments per day and 3-5 CT simulations daily
• Perform image-guided radiation therapy and CBCT procedures
• Operate 1 CT Simulation scanner and 1 Linear accelerator
• Work with GE Lightspeed and Varian 2100 IX equipment
• Use ARIA and EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Must have knowledge of Varian linear accelerators
• Ability to administer external beam radiation as prescribed by radiation oncologist
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T) Verification
• West Virginia state license required
• No floating to other areas required
• No IV starts required
• Dress code requires solid color scrubs (no navy blue), scrubs are not provided
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
