Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Tuesday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM with rotating weekend call
• Weekend call requirements: 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM call only
• No holiday requirements
• Perform 4-12 MRI scans per day focusing on neurological and orthopedic imaging
• No cardiac or breast imaging performed
• Operate GE 1.5 Voyager MRI scanner
• Must have venipuncture skills and ability to start IVs
• Work in single MRI scanner department with no floating to other areas
• Use PIC for medical records and PACS for images
• EPIC charting system
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Illinois license required
• Any color scrubs permitted (scrubs not provided)
• On-site orientation provided
• 12-hour orientation period (non-billable)
• Must pass drug screening as part of drug-free campus policy
• Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
• Call off policy allows equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty
