Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Perform pediatric and fetal echocardiography studies
• Average of 8 scans/studies per day
• Inpatient echo procedures performed on the unit in Children's hospital
• No weekend requirements typically
• No holiday requirements
• No call or standby requirements
• No IV starts required
• Use Philips EPIQ7 equipment
• Work with EPIC charting system and ISCV PACS system
• Light grey scrubs preferred but can wear existing scrubs with children-appropriate scrub tops
• Department specific orientation provided
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
• Must have clean professional history and strong references
• Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from facility
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
