Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Clinic setting in outpatient environment
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT(M) Certified Mammography Technologist
• High school graduate or GED equivalent required
• Medical Radiographer: CA (MRAD:CA) license required
• Satisfactory completion of formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
• Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography required
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) preferred
• One year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist preferred
• Six months experience in outpatient environment preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills required
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging required
• Knowledge of proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment required
• Understanding of radiation safety protocols required
• Medical terminology knowledge required
• Familiarity with electronic practice management system and PACS required
