RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: rotational
• No call or standby requirements
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for initial phase (POD#0), then 1:2 (POD#1)
• Required to float to Medical ICU if no need in CVICU
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Preferred: TNCC (effective 10/21/2025)
• Must have current CVICU experience with CRRT, Impella, and IABP
• Minimum 1-2 years critical care experience required
• Travel experience required
• Care for critically ill patients with heart conditions experiencing complex needs
• Manage invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring
• Titrate multiple drips including Dopamine, Levophed, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Argatroban, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Lasix, Epinephrine, and Neosynephrine
• Read telemetry strips (no monitor techs on unit)
• Work with respiratory equipment including BiPap, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation
• Dress code: Navy scrubs, solid color only with no embroidery or patterns, closed-toe shoes required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Orientation includes general hospital orientation, full nursing orientation, computer training, and two 12-hour shifts with preceptor
