RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Must float within Zone 3 across multiple facilities within 60-mile radius of Denver City Center
• Float to OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital
• Required to live within 60 miles of each facility listed
• Float across multiple units including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 based on acuity
• 6-9 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule
• May be asked to work holidays and enter holiday rotation
• Schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance with two scheduling options: single facility for the week or Just-In-Time assignments
• Just-In-Time assignments communicated 1-2 hours before shift start
• May float to other acuity levels including ICU, PCU/Stepdown based on skillset
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must have 2 years of MS-Tele experience; prior neuro experience preferred
• Responsible for titrating Heparin drips
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• 1-2 days orientation with preceptor
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Rare call or standby requirements for low census
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
