RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Night shift weekend requirement: every other Friday and Saturday
• Day shift weekend requirement: every other Saturday and Sunday
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• Level II NICU with 10 beds and nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-3 depending on acuity
• Must have Level II NICU experience with at least 2 years of experience (1 year considered with multiple travel assignments)
• Must be competent in couplet care in postpartum and able to attend deliveries
• Must be experienced with stabilization and attending high and low risk deliveries
• Experience required with respiratory conditions, hemodynamic issues, bubble CPAP, tube feeds, and substance abuse babies
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE
• Must have experience with ventilators, bubble CPAP, and high flow equipment
• May float to Mother Baby unit
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit orientation includes 8-hour compliance day with manager, 8-hour Epic class, and 2-3 twelve-hour unit-specific orientation shifts
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Epic charting system
• No call or standby requirements
• BSN not required
