Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Schedule includes 4 shifts of 9 hours with call responsibilities
• On-call requirements: 2-3 nights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2-3 holidays per year
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
• Must have recent experience with heart catheterizations and peripheral catheterizations
• Preferred experience with Philips equipment and McKesson systems
• Work with Epic electronic medical records
• Operate Philips monitoring equipment, McKesson systems, and Philips tables
• Handle approximately 5 cases per day including STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, stroke patients needing neuro-intervention, peripheral angios, line placement, drain placement, and loop recorders
• Work in 2 labs with 1 hybrid room and 6-bed recovery area (1 lab has BiPlane capability)
• 32-hour unit-specific orientation over 4 shifts
• Typically do not float to other departments
• Active Illinois license required
