RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekend and weekday call requirements
• Strong endoscopic experience required
• Must provide unexpired copy of driver's license with all submissions
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) preferred
• PALS only required for PACU positions
• Scrubbing experience required for RN positions
• Work in 13 OR suites and 2 minor procedure rooms handling 60-70 cases per day on average
• Common procedures include general surgery, OB/GYN, neurosurgery, vascular, endovascular, orthopedics, plastics, interventional pain, ENT, ophthalmology, and da Vinci robotic procedures
• Call requirements include rotating weekday evening call from 6:45 PM to 11:15 PM with 30-minute response time
• One to two weekend calls every six-week schedule consisting of three to four call shifts
• Call rooms available at the hospital
• Float to compatible areas based on experience and comfort level
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Typically receive 2-shift orientation in OR with additional pairing during initial call shifts
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• BSN not required
