Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour day shifts with weekend call rotation on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Perform an average of 8 studies per day (6 outpatient, 2 inpatient)
• Primary focus on transthoracic echocardiography procedures
• Minimum 1 year of cardiac sonographer experience required
• Work primarily at main Jefferson location with potential to cover other locations including Berkeley Medical Center and clinic sites
• Use Epic charting system and PACS for documentation
• Operate Philips echo machine equipment
• May assist with IV starts when able or request help as needed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), RDCS through ARDMS, or RCS through CCI
• Light blue scrubs provided
• Holiday and weekend on-call rotation requirements
• Acute care setting environment

The facility serves both inpatient and outpatient populations across multiple locations including the main hospital and satellite clinic sites. The department maintains a team-oriented approach with cardiologist readers available and support staff to assist with procedures as needed.
