RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour mid shifts with 36-hour guarantee
• Maintain 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Care for average of 100 patients per day including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Work in 30 private ER rooms including 6-room EDOU observation unit
• Utilize 6 fast track beds with PA support for minor non-urgent issues
• Access to 1 seclusion room plus 5 additional monitored rooms
• Level IV Trauma Center environment
• 2 years RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), TNCC
• BSN not required
• Work with Allscripts-Sunrise EMR system
• Use Omnicell medication system
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours
• Scrub color: anything except all black (scrubs not provided)
• Cancellation policy: 3 per 13 weeks

The facility operates as a Level IV Trauma Center with modern technology and equipment including advanced EMR systems and medication dispensing technology. The emergency department features all private rooms and specialized units designed to handle a full spectrum of medical emergencies from minor injuries to complex trauma cases.
