Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Alternative schedule available: 5 x 8-hour shifts with call and possible weekends
• Call requirements include 7-9 shifts in 6 weeks with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday call requirements apply
• Work in 6 interventional radiology labs with pre-op and phase 2 recovery areas
• Handle 20-30 cases per day on average
• Job duties include scrubbing, passing supplies, setting up and taking down procedure rooms
• Work with vascular, neuro, drains, and lines cases
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system and Phillips monitors
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS
• Active Illinois license required for submission
• 3-5 days unit-specific orientation in the lab
• 12 hours non-billable orientation with guaranteed hours not applying during orientation
• Scrubs provided by facility
• No floating requirements - work specifically in IR (separate from EP and cath lab)
• Must pass negative drug screen for all panels as part of drug-free campus policy

The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and technology, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records and Phillips monitoring systems. The department features dedicated pre-operative and phase 2 recovery areas, ensuring comprehensive patient care throughout the procedural process.
