RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM based on shift needs
• 36 hours per week with one day off during the week
• Occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 per month and possible holiday requirements
• No call responsibilities
• Level I trauma experience required
• Pre-operative and PACU experience or ICU experience required
• IR RN preferred or ICU RN with IR experience will be considered
• Provide pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
• Work in radiology pre and post procedural area with 5 angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine
• Handle body IR cases including chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ tubes, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT biopsies, ablations, ultrasound biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• Care for outpatient and inpatient population including critical care and telemetry patients
• Work with telemetry and ventilators as needed
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• PALS certification preferred if possible
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Floor-specific orientation includes 2 shifts
• Will not work in neuro endovascular area, focus on body IR only
