Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with required call coverage
• Call requirements average 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)
• 30-minute response time for call situations
• Holiday call assignments on rotating basis
• Handle approximately 8 cases per day on average
• Must have scrub experience for PCI/STEMI procedures
• Required to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases
• Work in 2-bed cardiac catheterization lab
• Perform all cardiac invasive procedures except structural heart procedures
• Handle peripheral procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases
• Use Cerner electronic medical record system
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Floor-specific orientation typically 1-2 shifts depending on skill level
• No floating between units required
• 2 years of catheterization lab experience required
• Must hold RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• BLS certification required
• COVID vaccination required
• Two supervisor references from modality required at submittal (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
• BSN degree not required

The facility provides 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and IV team coverage. The organization utilizes Cerner electronic medical records and maintains advanced cardiac care capabilities with on-site cardiologist coverage and specialized cardiovascular invasive procedures.
