RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in NICU Level II with 4-bed unit maintaining 1:2 patient ratios
• Must be able to flex to mother/baby unit and provide couplet care
• Required to attend deliveries independently and catch babies
• Care for stable postpartum mothers
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with flexible scheduling
• First to float when needed
• Up to 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks required
• On-call standby when low census - up to 48 hours in 13-week contract
• Must respond to unit within 30 minutes when called
• Holiday coverage required when scheduling needed
• Client can call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks without penalty
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
• Must be friendly, helpful, and positive team member
