Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - Xray Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirements include 1 major and 1 minor holiday
• On-call responsibilities with 30-minute response time on rotating basis
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in radiology
• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA)
• Perform approximately 100 scans/studies per day
• Common imaging types include brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
• Work with 2 scanners/rooms in department
• May be required to float to Mercy Southwest location (approximately 6.5 miles away)
• Work with GE and Toshiba equipment
• Use Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems
• Charting completed in Cerner system
• Teal scrubs required (dress code specification)
• Department orientation provided by lead tech for at least one week
• No IV starting required
• Work under lead technologist supervision with radiologist in-house
• Subject to cancellation policy: up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
