RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekend requirements every other weekend
• Float to multiple units of varying acuity levels including CCU, IMC, Medical-Surgical levels 7 and 8, Skilled Care, and ED (if within skillset)
• Patient ratios vary by unit: CCU 1:2-3, IMC 1:4-6, MS Level 7 1:5-6, MS Level 8 1:5-8, Skilled Care 1:8-10
• Must have 5 years of nursing experience required
• Prefer 1 year ICU experience or 1 year ED experience
• Must be comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:10
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (if working in CCU or ED)
• Must titrate critical drips including Heparin when working in ED or CCU
• Expected to read and interpret telemetry strips, print strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms
• Must troubleshoot respiratory equipment including vents, trachs, BiPap, CPAP, and Airvo
• Self-scheduling for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with flexibility required to fill staffing gaps
• Assignment received via text message within 2 hours prior to shift start
• Navy blue scrubs required
• One day orientation and one day with preceptor
• May be placed in holiday rotation
• Common diagnoses include NSTEMI, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetes, heart disease, and diverticulitis
• Must reside within 50-mile radius and provide unexpired driver's license
• Use Cerner charting system

The facility maintains 24/7 monitor technician coverage and respiratory therapy services across multiple units. The organization utilizes self-scheduling systems and provides extensive support services including charge nurses and patient care technicians to ensure quality patient care across all units.
