Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultra Sono Radiol

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with alternating shift options (6-6, 7-7, 8-8)
• Follow 3-2-2 schedule working alternating weekends with no call responsibilities
• Perform approximately 35 scans per day in a 24-hour department
• Work with 3 ultrasound scanners using Siemens S2000 equipment
• Conduct general ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound studies (upper & lower venous & arterial)
• Must have OB and arterial extremity doppler experience
• Ability to start IVs when required
• Must be able to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: ARDMS and/or RVT, BLS, WV License
• WV CARES required prior to start
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of facility
• 5 shifts of orientation with preceptor provided
• Use Cerner charting system and Intellirad/Intelliconnect PACS
• Professional scrubs required in any color (facility staff wear emerald green)
• First time travelers accepted
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation

Facility:

This acute care medical facility features a comprehensive imaging department with modern ultrasound technology and 24-hour radiology services. The facility maintains three ultrasound scanners and provides full-spectrum imaging services including general ultrasound, obstetrics, and vascular studies. The imaging department operates with dedicated management support during business hours and maintains radiologist coverage with in-house physicians until 5 PM, followed by on-call coverage and overnight interpretation services.
