Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work in Cath Lab Pre/Post Recovery unit with 4/10-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Required to take call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Call response time of 30 minutes preferred (60 minutes maximum)
• Call schedules: weekday 9:30 PM-5:00 AM, weekend day 5:00 AM-5:00 PM, weekend night 5:00 PM-5:00 AM
• Recovery unit operates Monday-Friday 5:00 AM-9:30 PM
• Provide admit and recovery care for patients having left and right heart catheterizations
• Handle complex PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Work with 23 total bays (16 beds and radial lounge with recovery chairs)
• Average of 30 cases per day in busy multimodality lab
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS certification
• Washington license or Compact license required
• Hospital-issued surgical attire provided
• Use EPIC EMR system and PYXIS equipment
• Floating only required for emergency response
• Unit orientation less than 1 week if competent
• Holidays on-call only, otherwise off

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
