Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in Cath Lab & IR with 4 rooms/suites
• Handle 15-20 cases per day on average
• Days schedule, every other weekend, first to float
• Call requirement with 30-minute response time for technicians
• No floating required within the unit
• 1-2 days of unit-specific orientation provided
• Hospital-provided teal blue scrubs
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification, Fluoroscopy
• Must have experience with coronary procedures, balloon pumps, and Impella devices
• Peripheral and coronary circulation experience required
• Must be comfortable working with critically ill patients
• Work with advanced equipment including laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet
• Experience with Siemens/Phillips equipment helpful but not required
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo system preferred
• Use Cerner charting system
• All MyJourney modules must be completed prior to arrival
• Manager interview required
• Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

This medical center operates as a STEMI receiving center, performing many STEMI procedures monthly in their comprehensive interventional radiology and catheterization laboratory. The facility features 4 specialized rooms/suites with state-of-the-art equipment and maintains 24/7 coverage with cardiologists, respiratory therapists, and in-house pharmacy services. The organization provides critical cardiovascular and interventional services with dedicated charge nurses during day shifts and circulation nurses for after-hours coverage.
