RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday requirement - yes
• Nurse to patient ratios typically 1:2, potentially 1:4
• 8-bed emergency department with average daily census of 29 patients
• No floating to other units
• Call shifts not typically required unless requested
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA)
• Must provide copy of unexpired driver's license with submission
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
• Willing to wait for license processing
• BSN not required
• Use EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication system
• Work alongside NP/PA provider coverage from 10 AM to 8 PM daily
• Cancellation policy: Client may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks

The emergency department operates with dedicated provider support and maintains appropriate staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care in a community hospital setting.
