Opportunity:

RN - CICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float as needed within skillset to MICU, SICU, and other medical units with maximum of 4 patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Previous travel experience required
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on patient acuity
• 8-bed unit specializing in cardiac intensive care
• Care for patients with open heart surgery, neuro surgery, vascular surgery, trauma, and overflow medical conditions
• Perform special procedures including chest tubes, swan catheters, temporary pacers, cordis, cardiac continuous output monitoring, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, tracheostomies, PEG tubes, and G/J tubes
• Use Cerner charting system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• No call requirements
