Opportunity:

Interventional Technologist - Interventional Radiology Lab

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week on day shift with call responsibilities
• Call schedule includes 4-6 weekends and 1 night per week
• Work in Hybrid Operating Room environment
• Set up, prepare, and clean exam rooms before and after patient procedures
• Maintain room supplies and equipment
• Discuss patient history and provide patient education concerning examinations
• Ensure proper patient identification using facility standards
• Prepare and administer contrast under physician direction according to standard operating procedures
• Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action per standard operating procedures
• Prepare physician fee slips by coding specific procedures and staying current with CPT coding system
• Complete charges for examinations in Epic and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Required certifications: ND Medical Imaging License, Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
• Must demonstrate understanding of scope of responsibility within license
• Responsible for confirming, reviewing, and preparing orders with correct coding for physicians
