Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekly Wednesday start dates available
• 13-week assignment length
• Current RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
• Use Cerner charting system
• 32-bed unit serving patients with unknown fevers, DKA, pneumonia, COPD, flu, diabetic ulcers, appendicitis, cellulitis, pancreatitis, and osteomyelitis
• Perform special procedures including NGT insertions, PICC line management, dressing changes, and wound vac management
• Float support to Orthopedics, Comprehensive Medical Unit, Oncology, and Accountability Care Unit as needed
