Opportunity:

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Choose between 36 or 48-hour work weeks with overtime beginning after 48 hours
• Provide care to ICU boarders in the PACU unit
• Work with trauma overflow patient population (previous trauma training not required)
• Float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and census
• Unit operates Monday 7:00 AM to Saturday 7:00 PM with no Sunday shifts
• Blocked scheduling available
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician direction
• Use nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care provision
• Follow standards of nursing practice and departmental policies
• Graduate of accredited nursing school required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in clinical specialty area preferred
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support certification required
