Opportunity:

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders
• May also float to Women's and Family unit when needed with proper orientation
• Handle various patient conditions including preeclampsia, eclampsia, hypertensive mothers, hyperemesis, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Patient ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any unit/hospital
• Typically assigned 24 hours in advance but may be pulled mid-shift to float to any unit or hospital
• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under licensed physician direction
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff according to standards of nursing practice and departmental policies
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in clinical specialty preferred
• PA Registered Nurse License required
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required
