Opportunity:

RN - ICU Float Pool

Job Details:

• Provide care to ICU boarders located in the PACU unit
• Expected patient population includes trauma overflow patients (previous trauma training not required)
• Float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need and census
• Unit operates Monday 7:00 AM to Saturday 7:00 PM with no Sunday shifts
• Blocked scheduling will be considered
• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under licensed physician direction
• Collaborate with patients, families, peers, and healthcare team members to individualize patient care
• Direct nursing support staff according to nursing practice standards and departmental policies
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year experience in clinical specialty area preferred
• Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Apply nursing process using current methods and techniques of nursing practice
