Opportunity:
Surgical Technician - CVOR
Job Details:
• Work day/evening shifts with 3x12 hour schedule totaling 36 hours per week
• Shift times: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Must be expected to float as a sitter a few times as needed during assignment
• Function as vital member of OR team assuming responsibility for scrub position during surgical intervention
• Maintain safe environment by implementing technical and aseptic practices according to AORN Standards
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures across variety of services
• Set up and maintain sterile field, assist team members
• Demonstrate proper use of instruments, suture and stapling devices
• Follow appropriate procedures for obtaining, returning, cleaning, and disposing of equipment
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts at appropriate times
• Handle emergency situations and recognize faulty equipment/unsafe conditions
• Required certifications: BLS, Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license
• Must be graduate of accredited school of Surgical Technology
• National Certification by Association of Surgical Technologists required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
