Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging

Job Details:

• No call, no weekends, no holidays
• Perform cardiac sonography using Epic CVx and Affiniti ultrasound machines
• Work with EPIC electronic medical record and Intellispace (ISCV) reporting system
• Work in high-paced, high acuity level I trauma center providing inpatient and outpatient testing
• Complete echocardiogram protocol and report generation within templated 1 hour time frame
• Maintain standard workflow of 8 studies per day
• Perform Transthoracic, Transesophageal, Stress and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms
• Conduct high quality studies following ICAEL guidelines including imaging optimization, pathology recognition and assessment
• Perform accurate 2D and Doppler measurements
• Complete inpatient studies portable at bedside
• Required certifications: RDCS and/or CCI
• Minimum 2+ years experience required
• Experience with Definity usage and optimization required
• Structural heart experience preferred
• Experience with administration of Definity and agitated saline studies preferred
