RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units
• Float between all inpatient medical-surgical units across the hospital system including 9 med surg units and 5 step down units
• Work every other weekend
• Agency staff are not scheduled on holidays
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 on standard Med Surg units (may vary based on unit acuity and staffing)
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHHS
• Must be comfortable floating between multiple units and adapting quickly to varying patient populations
• Strong EPIC proficiency required
• Function independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
• Uphold all hospital policies and safety standards
• Comply with attendance, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols
• Receive orientation at main campus on start date with additional 2-3 hour orientation at Women's and Families location
