RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day/evening shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Required to take call responsibilities
• Must float as a sitter when needed and may be floating in rotation
• Washington State or Compact RN licensure required
• CVOR experience required
• Must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care utilizing nursing process
• Develop, implement and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Document care provided, assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately
• Complete holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to patient status changes
• Teach patients, families and significant others appropriate health information
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with all healthcare team members
• Maintain clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies
• Must adhere to facility policies and unit standards
• Function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and unit-specific standards
