RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day/evening shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Washington State or Compact RN licensure required
• Must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Charge experience preferred
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using nursing process and unit-specific standards
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Evaluate discharge plans and provide patient education
• Document care provided, assessments, and interventions accurately
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Teach patients and families health information in a timely manner
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Maintain clean and safe environment according to hospital policies
• Function within guidelines of Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit standards
