Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging

Job Details:

• Work 5 x 8-hour shifts at Devils Lake location or 4 x 10-hour shifts if floating between Devils Lake and Grand Forks locations
• Schedule options will be discussed during manager interview
• 13-week contract assignment
• Current North Dakota sonographer license required
• Required certifications: ARDMS/CCI, BLS (American Heart Association)
• Produce images of heart muscle and cardiac functioning using ultrasound equipment
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment while recording cardiac data and measurements
• Assist with transesophageal cardiograms and dobutamine stress tests
• Identify cardiac anatomy, anomalies, and heart disease according to patient age
• Perform computer analysis and quantitative calculations of echo data
• Review echocardiograms for quality, completeness, and cardiologist preferences
• Collect and review clinical information prior to performing exams
• Communicate pertinent clinical findings to cardiologists and healthcare team
• Ensure written physician orders are received before exam performance
• Provide appropriate patient education within scope of responsibility
