RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work evening/night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week for 36 hours total
• Washington State or Compact RN License required
• Must maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care using nursing process
• Develop, implement and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Document care provided, assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately
• Complete holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to patient status changes
• Provide patient/family education and health information in timely manner
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with all members of healthcare team
• Maintain clean and safe environment according to hospital and unit policies
• Must adhere to facility policies and Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines
• Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes
