RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week for 36 hours total
• Required to have Washington State or Compact RN licensure
• Must maintain active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Cross training provided to CC ER charge and to MC ER
• Coordinate and provide high quality patient care using nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Complete holistic ongoing assessments and respond appropriately to patient status changes
• Document care provided, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness and educational needs
• Provide patient and family education with written informational materials
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain clean and safe environment according to hospital policies
• Function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and unit-specific standards
