RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating days off from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Day/Evening shift schedule
• Mandatory call requirement with on-call responsibilities
• Washington State RN license or Compact license required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preference given to candidates who can both scrub and circulate
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians, patients, and families
• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using nursing process and unit-specific standards
• Collect patient information, complete holistic assessments, and respond appropriately to patient status changes
• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Provide patient and family education with written materials
• Evaluate discharge planning for appropriateness and educational needs
• Document care provided, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Handle emergency situations promptly and professionally
• Must function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and maintain current knowledge of legal nursing aspects
