Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work day/night rotations only with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Provide care on 24-bed Hematology/Oncology/Gynecologic Oncology and medical surgical unit
• Manage 9-bed Hematology and Cellular Therapy unit
• Administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects
• Care for patients receiving radiation therapy and radioisotopes
• Treat common diagnoses including lymphoma, leukemia, and ovarian cancers
• On-call responsibilities required
• Preferred experience with chest tubes, drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
• Experience with lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients preferred
• Knowledge of tracheostomies/laryngectomies and telemetry preferred
• Complex wound care experience preferred
• Central line care, maintenance, and blood draws experience preferred
